This branding project for the Food Services at the University of British Columbia aims to fight food insecurity on campus. With many students at UBC Vancouver facing significant food insecurity, this food shack provides affordable and healthy options for those on tight budgets, fully subsidized by UBC. The initiative is part of a broader effort led by the Food Insecurity Action Committee, which is supported by the UBC Board of Governors, to build on existing strategies and explore new solutions. Fooood represents a small yet crucial step in this journey, operated by UBC Food Services and staffed by our Culinary Apprentices.
