EDITORIAL DESIGN & PUBLISHING
There are countless eyes in our world, and each one views the planet differently from the next. The image of the world is never the same for any two eyes. Personal influences and accumulated experiences shape our visual perceptions and create the world as it appears to us—or at least, as it seems to be. We believe we see the world as it truly is, but how does the world actually look? More importantly, what image emerges when we view the world through an eye affected by visual impairment? My work focuses on visual impairments in the human eye. I approach the topic from an expert perspective and complement it with insights from those affected. From the evolution of the eye to everyday habits, my project demonstrates that the world is different from how we perceive it and that it has so much more to offer beyond the narrow spectrum we can see.
